Do you provide a barrowing service?
No, but the driver will have barrows you are welcome to use.
Are your materials recycled?
No, all our topsoils and subsoils manufactured to BSI Certified Standards.
What areas do you cover or deliver to?
Typically we deliver to the following locations, and their surrounding areas: Manchester, Ashbourne, Buxton, Macclesfield, Stoke, Wilmslow and those surrounding areas.

What is "BSI Certification" for Soils?
The BS gives ranges of compliance for each test for the different grades of topsoil. The test report, or ‘declaration of compliance’ as BS3882 terms it, shows the compliance of a given test sample against the different grades of topsoil. BS8601 referres to subsoil specifications. All our topsoil is BS3882 certified and our subsoils are all BS8601 certified.
An overall Soil Texture is determined from the results of the fractions of Clay, Silt & Sand compared against the soil triangle matrix in BS3882.
The standard also sets out information about how topsoil should be sampled to check its composition, and how it should be stored, handled and prepared for use. Topsoil suppliers are required to keep it segregated from building materials to avoid contamination.
